You've been treating this patient for three minutes. You still know nothing about them.

Doctoro gives doctors and pharmacists the missing context they need across Nigeria's care chain, so no patient has to restart their story at every hospital, clinic, or pharmacy.

Built in alignment with Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023. Encrypted records, professional access controls, and continuity designed for the realities of Nigerian healthcare.

Patient context before the first question

Hypertension · T2DM · Penicillin allergy
LUTH medicine clinic · 3 days ago
Recent labs, specialist notes
Creatinine up · medication changed

Prescription handoff with less guesswork

Dr. A. Okafor · LUTH
Dose, refill rules, care notes
Full prescribing context
Interactions · flagged history

Nigeria's care chain still resets the patient at every stop.

Doctoro is built for the real handoff problem that happens between hospitals, private clinics, laboratories, and community pharmacies every day. Patients move. Notes do not. Prescriptions travel on paper. Context disappears between one professional and the next.

A patient discharged from LUTH arrives at a community pharmacy in Yaba with a handwritten prescription. The pharmacist has no access to the patient's antihypertensive regimen, their recent creatinine result, or the specialist's note flagged for review. So they dispense what they can see and hope. This happens hundreds of times a day, in Lagos, Ibadan, Kano, and Enugu. Doctoro exists to end it.

Doctoro is a working layer of continuity for the clinicians and pharmacists who have to make safe decisions with incomplete information.

Doctors repeat intake that should already exist

When context is fragmented, every consultation starts slower, riskier, and more defensively than it should.

Pharmacists dispense with partial truth

Without visibility into history, allergies, or current regimens, paper alone carries too much clinical weight.

Patients become the transport layer

Results, follow-up advice, and treatment changes depend on memory, folded documents, and fragile handoffs.

Safer decisions happen when the full story shows up before the patient has to retell it.

Doctoro is being designed around three moments that matter most in the Nigerian care journey: the consultation, the prescription handoff, and the follow-up. That is where missing context creates delay, duplication, and avoidable risk.

01

Consultation

See the timeline, not a blank page.

Diagnoses, prescription history, lab trends, and care notes appear together so the next clinician starts with context.

02

Dispensing

Verify before the medicine leaves the counter.

Pharmacists receive a clearer relay from the prescriber, with allergy flags and interaction checks surfaced early.

03

Follow-up

Keep care connected across locations.

The patient can move between facilities without forcing every professional to reconstruct the same history from scratch.

How Doctoro Works

This is the first-day workflow we are designing toward: fast context for the doctor, verified relay for the pharmacist, and fewer blind spots for the patient moving through care.

1

Who Is Building Doctoro

Healthcare professionals in Nigeria do not trust anonymous products with sensitive records. This section is here because credibility should be earned on the page, not guessed at after the click.

"I didn't start Doctoro because I wanted to build a startup."

I started it because I've seen what happens when healthcare journeys break down.

My mother died from breast cancer.

Since then, I've watched friends, cousins, uncles, aunts, and people I care about go through their own battles with illness. Different conditions. Different hospitals. Different outcomes.

But one thing kept showing up.

People were constantly having to start again.

New doctor. New hospital. New pharmacy.

Same story. Same explanations. Same paperwork.

Sometimes test results were missing. Sometimes prescriptions couldn't be found. Sometimes family members knew more about a patient's history than the healthcare system itself.

Why is so much of healthcare still disconnected?

We live in a world where we can move money across continents in seconds, track a package in real time, and access information instantly from almost anywhere.

Yet many patients still carry medical information from one place to another themselves. Many doctors still make important decisions without having the full picture. Many pharmacists are forced to work without context.

The people in the system are not the problem. The system itself is often working against them.

Doctoro is my attempt to help change that.

Not by replacing doctors. Not by replacing pharmacists. Not by pretending technology can solve everything.

But by helping create better continuity between the people already doing the work.

A future where healthcare professionals have better context. A future where patients don't have to repeat their story over and over again. A future where healthcare feels more connected than fragmented.

That's why we're building Doctoro. And that's why we're inviting healthcare professionals to help shape it from the beginning.

Clear answers for healthcare professionals evaluating Doctoro.

These are the core questions we expect from clinicians, pharmacists, and operators looking at continuity of care infrastructure in Nigeria.

What is Doctoro?

Doctoro is a launch-stage healthcare continuity platform being built for doctors and pharmacists in Nigeria. The goal is to bring patient history, prescription context, and follow-up signals into one safer workflow.

Who is it for?

The first audience is healthcare professionals and care operators who manage handoffs between clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and pharmacies across Nigeria.

What problem does it solve?

Doctoro is focused on fragmented patient context. It is designed to reduce repeated intake, safer prescription guesswork, and lost follow-up context when patients move between providers.

How do I join early?
